On September 10th, the 33rd CAE Technology Conference & Applied Technology Expo will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Taiwan. Michael Markus Ackermann (GFaI e.V.) will present a technical talk at the Aerospace Test and Development Show in Toulouse, France, on October 1st, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM.

His talk, titled “Acoustic source localization in wind tunnels: Challenges, design, and implementation”, introduces a custom acoustic imaging system developed in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University for aeroacoustic testing in small-scale wind tunnels. The presentation will explore aspects such as system integration, microphone array design, shear layer correction, and data processing – all aimed at enhancing measurement accuracy for UAVs and aircraft component testing.
